An apartment in the attic in Tarnów
In the antique tenement house, in the centre of Tarnów, a large non-habitable dark attic space has been changed into a cosy and light apartment.
The metamorphosis has been carried out by D+S Atelier Architects workshop. The project involved the change of roof angle, lighting, functional layout of rooms and the interior design.
The apartment is characterised by simple and vivid, juicy colours.
The original interior consists of old preserved beams, light wooden floor or old bricks, covering all large wall in the living room, visible from the very entrance, and apparently NOTI furniture.
Comfee and Mishell armchairs or x40 pouffes introduce a vivid colour to the interior and architects stress their design through placing them with simple, natural materials and light colours. In the attic, Clapp tables were also neatly placed and the work station is accompanied by a Linar Plus chair.
