An FSC Certificate attests that the wood-based materials used in furniture production come from sustainable and redibility is grounded in maintaining the continuity of the chain of control of the product’s origin. For the final product to be sold as “FSC certified”, the FSC rules and standards must be observed at every stage of sourcing and processing raw materials. Only if this condition is met, the end product may be marked with an FSC label. The usage of the FSC label is subject to strict control, and the company is audited annually.
